American Music School was founded in November of 1989 as American Piano Schools. The idea was to create a place where anyone and everyone could discover the joy of music. In 2005, we changed our name to reflect our expansion to other instruments, but our vision has always stayed the same: making high-quality music education accessible in a warm and encouraging community.

Our teachers come from a wide range of musical backgrounds and experiences. Some even began as students at AMS before becoming teachers themselves, while others have been part of our school for more than 30 years. This unique mix of perspectives helps create a welcoming and inspiring environment where every student can feel at home and grow musically.
